2022 Caucus Night

Monday February 7, at 7:00 PM


How to find your precinct: Find your precinct by contacting or following your county committees Facebook page or website for your specific party.


Attend: Go a little early and get a seat. If you plan to read a stump speech for a candidate, mention that to the precinct captain.


Volunteer: To be a delegate at county convention (R: March 12 or D: March 26), to be on the rules committee or platform committee. Volunteer to be a delegate at your county committee meeting that meets monthly throughout the year.


Put forward a plank: When it comes time when the chair asks for anyone with specific planks they want to propose, raise your hand and read the following below. You can preface it or conclude it with an explanation as to why you feel this is important.


Plank:

“We strongly believe the right for an individual or parent to decline a vaccination or any other medical treatment for themselves or their children as an inalienable right. We oppose medical treatment requirements and mandates and believe medical decisions should remain private between an individual and their doctor.”
