STAND FOR HEALTH FREEDOM

Have you heard about our recent partnership with Stand for Health Freedom?! They are a HUGE asset and will help us connect with you directly for CTAs, petitions, surveys, etc., as well as legislative emailing. This means NO CENSORSHIP, instant access to time-sensitive action items, and digital data that will speak volumes to legislators. To join the movement and be alerted to upcoming opportunities to STAND, visit their website + sign up.

VACCINE INSERTS

Go to your local pharmacy or ask your doctor for the large folded sheet of paper that comes with each vaccine or you can review this web page for a list of inserts. Inserts are great resources as they include ingredient lists, warnings, and lists of side effects. Upon reviewing the ingredient lists research what each of those ingredients are to make sure you understand what is being injected. Additionally, be sure to know what to look for in an adverse reaction and report any to the National Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).

(VAERS) NATIONAL ADVERSE EVENT REPORTING SYSTEM

Unfortunately, the more you discuss vaccines and known side effects with others, the more you will encounter individuals that at one time may have exhibited symptoms of a vaccine reaction that should have been reported to VAERS. Educating others on what VAERS is and when to report something is crucial as it provides the necessary data to improve overall vaccine safety.

Established in 1990, VAERS is a national, early warning system to detect possible safety problems in U.S.-licensed vaccines. VAERS is co-managed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (the CDC) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (the FDA). VAERS accepts and analyzes reports of adverse events (possible side effects) after a person has received a vaccination. Anyone can report an adverse event to VAERS. Healthcare professionals are required by federal law to report certain adverse events and vaccine manufacturers are required to report all adverse events that come to their attention.

VAERS is a passive reporting system, meaning it relies on individuals to send in reports of their experiences to CDC and FDA. VAERS is not designed to determine if a vaccine caused a health problem, but is especially useful for detecting unusual or unexpected patterns of adverse event reporting that might indicate a possible safety problem with a vaccine. This way, VAERS can provide CDC and FDA with valuable information that additional work and evaluation is necessary to further assess a possible safety concern.

Due to VAERS being a passive system, we now know that less than 1% of vaccine adverse events and injuries are reported and accounted for.

IOWA DEPARTMENT
OF PUBLIC HEALTH

The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) is the primary source of Iowa’s vaccination statistics which is significant information to become familiar with when advocating and educating others. This IDPH page includes links to the IDPH’s Immunization Program Annual Reports which is a great place to start.

NATIONAL VACCINE INFORMATION CENTER

The non-profit National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) is an independent clearinghouse for information on diseases and vaccine science, policy, law, and the ethical principle of informed consent.

The information on this website is intended to assist readers in making educated decisions about vaccination and is not intended to advise for or against the use of vaccines. In support of informed decision-making, NVIC encourages everyone to research and become fully informed about the complications of infectious diseases and complications of vaccines and consult one or more trusted health care professionals before making a decision about vaccination.

The majority of information published on NVIC’s website about vaccine science, policy, law, and ethics is referenced and has been researched, written and produced by NVIC staff or has been republished with permission of authors.

CHILDREN'S HEALTH DEFENSE

The Children’s Health Defense (CHD) provides a diverse collection of information all geared toward the building of a safer world for our future generations.

The CHD team is devoted to the health of people and the planet. Their mission is to end the childhood health epidemics by working aggressively to eliminate harmful exposures, hold those responsible accountable, and establish safeguards so they don’t happen again.

Check out the CHD website to discover all the resources and information they have to offer.

INFORMED CONSENT ACTION NETWORK

ICAN believes you are the authority over your health choices and those of your children. In a medical world manipulated by advertising and financial interests, true information is hard to find and often harder to understand. ICAN’s goal is to put the power of scientifically researched health information in your hands and to be bold and transparent in doing so, thereby enabling your medical decisions to come from tangible understanding, not medical coercion.

The Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN) investigates the safety of medical procedures, pharmaceutical drugs, and vaccines while educating the public of their right to “informed consent”

ICAN’s work focuses on the following main ideas:

  • Fighting for parents’ rights

  • Protecting children

  • Science-based inquiry

  • Reasonable requests

  • Children first

  • Doctor-friendly

The ICAN website and facebook page has more information to review and share.
