"It may be not a little ghoulish to celebrate or exult in the deaths of vaccine opponents. And it may be proper to express sympathy and solicitude to those they leave behind.
But mockery is not necessarily the wrong reaction to those who publicly mocked anti-COVID measures and encouraged others to follow suit, before they perished of the disease the dangers of which they belittled.
Nor is it wrong to deny them our sympathy and solicitude, or to make sure it’s known when their deaths are marked that they had stood fast against measures that might have protected themselves and others from the fate they succumbed to.
There may be no other way to make sure that the lessons of these teachable moments are heard."
Apparently mocking & defaming the dead is encouraged now when it comes to unvaccinated people dying of Covid.
Is this how we want our children growing up? Don't we teach them to not bully? Aren't we suppose to be diverse and tolerate different points of views? Now we are being encouraged to mock deaths of people who aren't comfortable taking a liability free pharmaceutical product‼️
Do we mock those who die of lung cancer for choosing to smoke? Do we mock those who die of liver disease because they drank? Do we mock those who die of diabetes because they didn't regulate it? Do we mock those who die of stroke due to obesity?
The answer is NO! This is such a distorted way of thinking. Can you name 1 other "class" in society where people think it's okay to mock their death & have no sympathy (besides the imprisoned)?
The headline of the article was changed & used to be, "Why Shouldn't We Dance on the Graves of Anti-Vaxxers?"
