URGENT ACTION

• President Biden’s announcement that he will force employers to mandate vaccines prompted at least 21 governors – including Iowa’s own Governor Reynolds – to push back against this overreach into individual liberties.

• Such a sweeping mandate and infringement cannot be tolerated, and we are demanding that our Iowa General Assembly and Governor Kim Reynolds work together to protect Iowan’s now. Fortunately, we can fix this. With a special session scheduled to meet October 5th for redistricting, we must pass a bill making it illegal for businesses to mandate the COVID-19 vaccine in Iowa – regardless of any federal mandate.

• Earlier this year, Iowa lawmakers failed to push forward SF 555 to protect workers from employer-mandated vaccines. In light of President Biden’s dictatorial statements, we cannot trust our federal government to protect Iowans. We need our own state protections in place.

• Historic times call for historic measures. We are asking our General Assembly and Governor to do something BIG for the people of Iowa. Ask your legislators to make passing vaccine protections for ALL Iowans in ALL circumstances, a priority in your special session and assure the people of Iowa that President Biden will not be able take away our medical liberties.
