Data Drives the Policies, but what if the Data is WRONG...?

Last week it was reported that there was a coding error on the CDC data tracker site. On March 15 that error was revised/fixed.

"An adjustment was made to COVID Data Tracker’s mortality data on March 14 involving the removal of 72,277 - including 416 pediatric deaths - deaths previously reported across 26 states because CDC’s algorithm was accidentally counting deaths that were not COVID-19-related. Working with near real-time data in an emergency is critical to guide decision-making, but may also mean we often have incomplete information when data are first reported."

-Jasmine Reed, CDC spokeswoman

As a result, there was a decline in Covid deaths from 851,000 to 785,087 deaths. Pediatric deaths declined from 1755 to 1339.

These numbers are 70,000 less than just a week ago (24% reduction in pediatric deaths).

We’re glad they corrected this data. Can we see them correct the rest of the data they’ve gotten wrong?

The update on the tracker was described as “great news” by Dr. Alasdair Munro, a clinical research fellow for pediatric infectious diseases at University Hospital Southampton, given that nearly a quarter of the pediatric COVID-19 deaths had vanished. But Munro, writing on social media, called it “slightly worrying that this data was being used widely in the US to guide or advocate for policy.”

The previous numbers of Covid deaths that were guiding policy for lockdowns, mask mandates on children and vaccine mandates were wrong. Numbers have been adjusted downwards, and the numbers that are counted have been admitted to sometimes be “with” COVID-19 and not “from” COVID-19.

“But the other important thing is that if you look at the children who are hospitalized, many of them are hospitalized with COVID, as opposed to because of COVID. And what we mean by that, if a child goes into the hospital, they automatically get tested for COVID, and they get counted as a COVID hospitalized individual. When in fact, they may go in for a broken leg or appendicitis or something like that.”

-Anthony Fauci

Can we start to come to terms with the fact that the “protection” we think we’re giving children from COVID is not needed and also doing more harm than good. HF2298, a bill currently live in the Senate would prohibit the Covid vaccine from being required to attend school or daycare in Iowa. This bill needs our support. This revision in data makes that even more clear. We cannot allow our children to be subjected to this, this vaccine is likely to cause more harm than the virus itself.

Given the fact the highest scientific agency in the nation reported nearly 25% more deaths in one of the children's cohorts than actually occurred, and admitted that hospitalizations in children could also be falsely elevated as children simply test positive for the virus while at the hospital for an unrelated issue, why on earth would we be opposed to legislation maintaining the rights for this decision to come from parents alone? Yet doctors, public health departments, teachers unions, and Federal agencies continue to utilize this incomplete and often inaccurate data when touting why we must get everyone, including children, vaccinated. Why are schools moving to require this when the data utilized to make these decisions has been reported inaccurately?

Where was this bombshell report on the mainstream news? Has the CDC issued a press release that the Associated Press has just refused to run? We should be celebrating this decrease in Covid deaths. How many people’s jobs have been lost, livelihoods been impacted, discrimination inflicted based on the data coming from the CDC yet they don’t even have the audacity to submit a public statement and apology to Americans regarding their clerical error.
