Data out of England shows the effects of the pandemic on overall health have taken a huge toll. There are multiple parts to this article but essentially:
➡️Heart disease from blockages, heart failure, strokes, aneurysms, other circulatory diseases, respiratory infections, urinary system disease, liver disease, & diabetes all have unexpected high numbers of excess deaths unrelated to Covid in the last couple months (since July 2, 2021).
➡️England's government estimates there were 23 million less general practice consultations in 2020 versus 2019.
➡️There was a significant drop in diagnoses:
51% less COPD
26% less atrial fibrillation
20% less heart failure
19% less diabetes
17% less coronary heart disease
16% less stroke & transient ischemic attacks (TIA)
➡️Elective surgeries such as tumor removals for cancer have been delayed & significantly decreased in numbers since opening elective surgeries back up.
“Although it is not possible to quantify the full impact of the delays in presentation, consultation and diagnosis stages at this point, the literature shows that these treatment delays are likely to lead to poorer health outcomes for patients.”
➡️Lockdowns suppressed immune systems by not allowing normal diseases to circulate. (Yes, being in contact with microbes is actually good for your immune system!) This has caused an "early winter" particularly with RSV. The flu rate was 15.5x lower for 2019/2020 versus 2017/2018 which could indicate a heavy flu season coming up.
"If it does [government starts locking down, mandating masks, & order people to work from home] we could end up in a perpetuating state of low-immunity in winter that it will be difficult to escape from. The Covid-19 response may have inadvertently created an ongoing health crisis from which there is no way back."‼️
🔆Remember when people saying the cure can't be worse than the disease were being ridiculed & labeled selfish? This is what they could see coming. Long term repercussions. This is what The Great Barrington Declaration is all about-- focused protection for high risk Covid persons, but not allowing these long term repercussions to happen to the general population not at high risk by allowing them to live & interact like normal.
When are we going to start listening to those who aren't being paid to speak in front of the camera?
